The goal of the Big Island Lake Cree Nation Head Start Facility project was to provide an inviting, child-focused space designed to support early learning and community connection. Working with the client and their representative, Con-Tech designed and delivered this 3,000+ sq. ft. modular facility that features open learning areas, nap rooms, accessible washrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, all tailored to meet the daily needs of both children and caregivers. The colorful corners of the exterior, combined with the play structure and oversized crayons, helped create a cheerful look for the building to help children feel welcome. Con-Tech completed the work using our own forces for design, earthwork, wood framing, metal roofing, and metal cladding.
